Beyond megawatts

REVERB. structures SED and ED initiatives so that renewable energy projects grow resilient local economies, not just power.

Mandate & Strategy

Our mandate

REVERB. is the new name for the IPP PMO established by Scaled Impact and H1 Holdings to structure and implement high‑impact SED and ED projects across multiple IPPs and sites.

It acts as a strategic vehicle to maximise development impact for REIPPP host communities through collaboration, shared platforms and robust governance.

Core role
  • Designs collaborative SED/ED strategies across clusters of IPP projects located close to one another.
  • Transforms fragmented, site‑by‑site spend into regional, multi‑IPP programmes.
  • Builds a pipeline of commercially viable, impact‑oriented projects seeking investment funding.
Strategic approach
  • Value chain integration across agriculture, land restoration, enterprise development, tourism and digital services.
  • Systems analysis of each town and corridor to guide interventions and growth paths.
  • Platform‑based delivery using standardised themes, partners and reporting models.

Ownership & governance

REVERB. is a partnership between H1 Holdings (renewable energy investor and shareholder) and Scaled Impact NPC (development organisation), initially funded by the Industrial Development Corporation.

  • Joint sponsors: H1 Holdings & Scaled Impact provide strategic direction and ensure alignment with the REIPPP framework.
  • IPP and community trusts: participate in governance structures for specific programmes and platforms.

Operating team

A lean, cross‑functional PMO team runs REVERB., combining project structuring, field implementation and systems analysis capability.

  • Head of REVERB. – accountable for the PMO operating model and portfolio of SED/ED platforms.
  • Programme leads – manage thematic platforms such as livestock, food manufacturing, land restoration and healthcare.
  • Local coordinators & analysts – anchor programmes on the ground and feed data into shared reporting systems.

    Insect Protein for Local Markets

Insects are a promoted by FAO to address future food security. © FAO 2013

Certain insects can complement traditional animal protein supply such as Fish, Poultry or Beef, given their equivalent nutrient composition.

Their ability to convert waste into high value animal protein using little land or water make them ecologically very sustainable.

We build industrial insect protein businesses to locally supply high yield feed, food and fertiliser in Africa.
